The operations in the simulation parallel those of actual digital camera companies. There are four different scoring parameters for the Glo-Bus Top 100: Overall Score, Stock Price, Return on Equity, and Earnings per Share. High performing teams around the world are recognized in the Glo-Bus Top 100 every week. The duration of the simulation is ten weeks and requires co-managers to input decisions on a weekly basis. GLO-BUS is an online business simulation where students operate a digital camera company in head-to-head competition against teams run by other co-managers, within the university and around the world. In addition, they were invited to compete in the Best Strategy Invitational in which they finished third in their industry. Pose, a student-run team was honored with recognition on the Glo-Bus Top 100 scoreboard nine weeks consecutively.
School of Business students from Professor Michael Radin’s Elements of Business class had record breaking success in the Glo-Bus Competition during the Spring 2015 semester.
